Apple Crisp


Tonight was apple crisp. It had apples and was crispy. There was whipped cream.

Last week we found a full box of wheat bix in some kid's flat. So we decided it was similar enough to corn flakes to make muffins. And we also imagined that had we read a recipe it would probably say to mix crushed up corn flakes, flour, milk, some eggs, some sugar, and some bits of vanilla and cinnamon. The batter was delicious. We were hopeful. We sat down to a hearty meal of fried pasta and thick meat sauce while the muffins sat happily in the oven slowly growing the thickest muffin skins know to mankind.

And so begins the food blog of Tyler "Tortellini" DeAngelis and Stephen "Sloth" Ligtenberg.

Here's to the Blue Vic in New Zealand. Expect greatness.
